WHAT: Styrofoam Ban-Aid fundraiser
WHEN: Thursday, January 31 (tonight) at 8pm
WHERE: Drake Hotel Underground (1150 Queen Street West)
Tonight at 8pm, NaturoPack (a Toronto-based nonprofit) presents Styrofoam Ban-Aid -- a benefit to ban Styrofoam take-out containers from Toronto's restaurants and cafés. Taking part in the fundraiser at the Drake Hotel Underground: Cuff the Duke, Sunparlour Players, Jewish Legend, and DJ Stà¼berman, plus videos by Adam & Dave.

WHAT: Black Creek United photography exhibit
WHEN: February 4-29
WHERE: York Woods Library (1785 Finch Avenue West)
The Art Gallery of York University (AGYU), York Woods Library, and “The Spot†are pleased to present Black Creek United. This exhibition of psychogeography-inspired photographs document an interdisciplinary art workshop for youth in the Jane and Finch community that took place during the fall of 2007.
