Montréal Monday: Elections, beautiful trees, and anniversary!

Each Monday, we bring you some of the popular posts from our sister blog, Spacing Montréal. We'll keep an eye open for topics and discussions that are pertinent to current public space issues in Toronto.

• Only one day left until the federal election. If you're still sitting on the fence, Spacing Montréal made a series of posts outlining what each party has in store for Canadian cities. (Bloc Québécois, Liberals, Conservatives, Green Party, NDP, as well as the issues)

• Even though Toronto is certainly not short on great climbing trees (umm, ever been to High Park?), this post featuring a 100-year-old spindle tree at McGill University from Spacing Montréal's weekly Tree Tuesday is sure to spark a little jealousy.

• And if you happen to find yourself in Montréal this Sunday, you should come swing by Café L'Escalier and celebrate Spacing Montréal's one-year anniversary with us.
