Toronto Bike Awards on Tuesday

WHAT: 2008 Toronto Bike Awards

As part of Bike Winter, the Toronto Cyclists Union and the City of Toronto are co-hosting the 2008 Toronto Bike Awards at the Gladstone Hotel. The City will present their annual Bicycle Friendly Business Awards, while the bike union will be presenting their very own Golden Spoke Awards. Spacing publisher Matthew Blackett will be the MC.

Some of the party features will be valet bike parking, skits, Clay and Paper theater performance, cool raffle prizes from Mountain Equipment Co-op and Crumpler, live music from GUH, spinning by the DJ duo Dorian & Dorian, Presidential Inauguration Goldsprints with prizes for all winners (Obama themed!), and a chance to mix and mingle with bike advocates, city staff and councillors.
