The tenth issue of Spacing is about to hit the streets. On Thursday, Nov. 22nd, the new issue will go on sale at the newsstands, followed by our release party on Monday Dec. 3rd, at The Berkeley Church.

The cover section of the fall 2007 issue takes a look at the challenges of turning Toronto into an eco-friendly metropolis. The lead article is a roundtable interview between Spacing, Mayor David Miller, and Dr. David Suzuki. The discussion focuses on how Toronto can be a leader in the fight against climate change.

The issue also features articles on:
• community gardens and urban agriculture
• eating wild plants found in our parks and laneways
• the need to green our driveways
• the not so long arm of environmental bylaws
• comparing Toronto's green initiatives to Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary
• the perils of living near a brownfield under redevelopment
• the methodology of dumpster divers
• the SUV limo is this issue's Public Enemy
• congestion charges on the Gardiner and DVP
• John Lorinc's City Hall column
• 5 questions for Rob MacIsaac of the GTTA
• the graffiti of engineers
• the QEW's lion monument
